TURBISCAN DNS is the first ready to use platform for dispersibility and stability studies. Dispersibility studies can be performed, while processing the dispersion (at flow) and on native sample (no dilution, no added forces) via Static Multiple Light Scattering (SMLS),  as recommended by the ISO TS 21357. The flow studies can be done by either pumping the sample from the process or reactor (circulation function of the Turbiscan DNS: T-LOOP) or by mixing directly in the measurement cell (mixing function: T-MIX). The stability measurement is done at rest and the Turbiscan DNS offers a fast (up to 200 time faster), quantitative and reliable stability measurement of destabilization kinetics without dilution or mechanical forces.

Highlights of Turbiscan DNS

Online Particle Sizing

Direct particle size reduction kinetics while mixing or during the process via integrated functions: T-LOOP and T-MIX. The Turbiscan DNS offers high frequency measurement (up to 10/second) to precisely monitor the impact of the mixing parameters.

Fast & Quantified Shelf-life

Extreme sensitivity of the SMLS (up to 200x times faster than naked eye). Not only being fast, Turbiscan stability measurement provides the destabilization mechanism and Quantify them with the one-click TSI or more in depth parameters (migration kinetic, aggregation speed…).

2 in 1 formulation platform

The SMLS offers large application range in term of particle size (from 10nm to mm) and concentration (from 10-4 to 95%v/v). Additionally, dispersibility and stability studies are performed without dilution.
